While disorders of the pelvic floor can be both painful and embarrassing, the good news is that in nearly all cases, they are treatable. Our entire team at the Center for Pelvic Health has an expertise in pelvic disorders and our primary focus is on helping you reclaim your freedom from these life-limiting conditions. We offer a wide variety of treatment options for incontinence and female pelvic disorders, depending on the exact nature of the problem.
Some of the options include:
- Special exercises, including Kegel exercises, to strengthen the muscles surrounding the openings in the pelvic floor
- Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation for urinary incontinence
- Physical Therapy
- Medication
- Peri-urethral injections, an office-based procedure effective for some types of incontinence
- Sacral Nerve Stimulation Surgery for urge urinary incontinence, urinary urgency/frequency syndrome and fecal incontinence unresponsive to conservative treatments
- Botox injections for some types of urinary incontinence
- Multi-Disciplinary Approach to treating pelvic pain with or without interstitial cystitis
- Bladder Irrigations for interstitial cystitis
- Reconstructive pelvic surgery to repair the pelvis in a single procedure
